I'm 17!!  X3

It feels weird that it's already my birthday again- didn't I just turn 16 a few days ago? 'Cause that's what it feels like. :S
And thank Grell I'm still on summer vacation, at least for one more week anyway. Usually I'm already in school during my birthday, but oh ho ho~ not this year! I still have homework though, stupid procrastination.

Things to do today:
~Summer homework
~Study for driver's permit test (yes, I still haven't got my license)
~Read fanfiction

Not too exciting birthday plans, huh? I should watch '17 Again' again, that movie was guuud! I'm not a Zac Effron fan, but this movie was enough to convince me that when I'm not freaked out by his laser eyes, he's pretty cool...sometimes.

So...summer's winding down, and on the 8th of September I'll officially be a 12th grader.

Whoop dee doo, right? Right.

I definitely have mixed feelings about this, though. But seeing as how it's my last year in high school, I suppose I should. On one hand I'm very~ excited! I mean- Last year in high school! YEAH~! And on the other hand I'm pretty sad that I'll be leaving my friends, the teachers, the school itself, I kind of don't want to leave. The way I see it, my past three years in high school have been awesome. Elementary and middle school were okay, but back in those days I was a shy kid so I didn't get too close with a lot of people. Now I'm friends with a lot of people, and I feel more comfortable opening up to others...

This definitely sounds like "lonely loser turned social butterfly"! xD

Anyway, point is while I'm excited to head off to college next year, I feel like I'll be leaving a big part of myself behind. I've definitely had most of the best times of my school life in high school. Sure, everyone (at least most people) complains about it, and says that they can't wait to graduate, but once you get to your last year it seems like it's been only a year since you were a freshman. I remember freshman year, my homeroom teacher told us in the class to "treasure the time spent in high school, because it'll go by really fast". Of course, we all kinda blew him off, it was only our second week of starting high school so we had what seemed to be hundreds of years until we got our diplomas. But now, exactly one year from now, I'll be packing up some of my stuff and heading off to college. D; Where did the years go?!  However, I can say that I have treasured my time in high school, I've had a lot of fun~ I'm just hoping that I keep in touch with friends once I do graduate.

Ah well, I still have one more year left.

P.S.~ I still have to finish my summer homework!! GAH! D8 'The Canterbury Tales' are not too fun to read, let me tell you.

P.S.S.~ DONGHAE!! Isn't he adorable! ...and smexy. ;3 I've been addicted to Super Junior lately, and he's my favorite~♥

P.S.S.S.~ First post! Hahaha...
